BACOLOD City – A woman was caught soliciting bets for an illegal numbers game in Barangay Galicia, Ilog, Negros Occidental.
She was the 33-year-old resident Maryjan Alisna, a police report showed.
Alisna was arrested around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. She was collecting bets for the numbers game bookies at the time, police said.
Recovered from Alisna’s possession were a ball pen, a notebook and P165 cash.
Officers from the Ilog municipal police station were patrolling the area when they chanced upon Alisna.
Alisna was detained at the police station’s lockup facility./PN
