SAN JOSE, Antique – A man was shot in Barangay Zaragoza, Bugasong, Antique.
Carl Herik Egonio of Barangay Buhang, Hamtic sustained gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Tagged suspect was Glen Rico of Barangay Centro Pojo, Bugasong.
According to police investigators, Egonio was on his way to work when Rico fired at the victim using an unknown firearm around 8 a.m. on July 4.
The motive in the shooting, however, was not immediately established.
Egonio was rushed to a hospital in Bugasong. He was later transferred to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in this capital town.
Officers of the Bugasong municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
