BACOLOD City – A murder suspect was arrested in a joint operation of the Regional Special Operation Task Group 18 and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Bacolod City.
Chief Inspector Rey Quanico, deputy chief of the CIDG-Bacolod, identified the suspect as 26-year-old Ever Idaño Hornalin of Barangay Burgos, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Hornalin was caught around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Raymond Joseph Javier of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60. The court set the bail at P200,000.
From the CIDG-Bacolod, Hornalin was set to be transferred to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology facility in Cadiz City./PN
