ILOILO City – Charged with murder seven years ago, a resident of Calinog, Iloilo was arrested in Barangay Our Lady of Lourdes, Jaro district.
The 30-year-old Arvie Casabuena of Barangay Ipil, Calinog was detained at the municipal police station.
Officers from Calinog and Jaro served him a warrant of arrest at around 5 p.m. on Monday, a police report showed.
Casabuena’s arrest was part of the police’s “Manhunt Charlie,” a campaign against wanted persons.
Regional Trial Court Judge Quiljie Delfin Lim issued the warrant on June 22, 2011, the police report stated./PN
