ROXAS City — Joint operatives from the Sapian and Roxas City police stations arrested Capiz’s second most wanted person on Wednesday afternoon, January 28.
The suspect, identified by the alias “Steph,” is a 26-year-old salesman from Sapian town. He faces two counts of statutory rape charges.
The arrest was executed at approximately 4:15 p.m. in Barangay 8, Roxas City. Police officers served a warrant issued on January 27, 2026 by the Regional Trial Court (RTC), 6th Judicial Region, Branch 20, in Mambusao, Capiz. No bail has been recommended for his release.
Police Brigadier General Josefino D. Ligan, director of the Police Regional Office 6, commended the Capiz Police Provincial Office for the successful operation.

The suspect is currently in the custody of the Sapian Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and processing./PN
