ILOILO – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6), through the coordinated efforts of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO), arrested the No. 2 most wanted person of Capiz during a manhunt operation in Barangay Poblacion, Sapian town.
Alias “Boy”, 26, married, a construction worker, and a resident of Sapian, was apprehended at 2:16 p.m. on August 28.
The operation was executed by joint operatives of the Sapian Municipal Police Station, CPPO Tracker Team, and the Regional Special Operations Group, Regional Intelligence Division 6 through the strength of a warrant of arrest for the crime of statutory rape issued by the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region – Branch 21 in Mambusao, Capiz.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Sapian police station for proper disposition./PN
