ILOILO City – A construction worker had been stabbed late Saturday evening on Ledesma Street, City Proper.
The 41-year-old Randy Yanson of Barangay Tabuc Suba, La Paz district was taken to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao.
His attacker fled on board a motorcycle, police said, citing witnesses.
Yanson was walking with his nephew at around 11:40 p.m. when a motorcycle almost hit them, a police report stated.
The motorcycle pulled over, and a confrontation ensued between the two parties, said the police.
The back rider then stabbed Yanson on the upper right arm and the stomach.
Police were still trying to identify the suspects as of this writing./PN
