BACOLOD City – Cardiac arrest caused the death of an American who was found in his bedroom in Purok Crotons A, Barangay Old Sagay, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, police said.
Fiancee Myrna Dela Peña, 58, said she discovered the 68-year-old Ronald Anthony Prudence’s body around 5 p.m. on Nov. 1.
Dela Peña only reported to the police around 11:12 a.m. the next day.
Prudence – a resident of Sacramento, California – was brought to the Lopez District Farmers’ Hospital, Inc. in Sagay City where attending physician Francis Villanueva declared him “dead on arrival,” a police report showed.
Prudence’s body was then brought to the Neniel Funeral Homes in Sagay City for a post-mortem examination, police said.
