ILOILO City – Police arrested a murder suspect in Barangay Pinamalisan, Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija.
Fausto Mandate Jr., 50, was listed as the No. 4 most wanted person of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office.
He was also listed as the most wanted fugitive in the municipal police station of Maasin, Iloilo.
On Monday he was caught around 3:30 p.m., a police report stated.
Mandate, a resident of Barangay Pinamalisan, had a standing warrant of arrest issued by Judge Emerald Requina-Contreras of the Regional Trial Court Branch 23.
The suspect was detained and set to be transferred to Iloilo this week.
The court did not set a bail bond for Mandate’s temporary liberty./PN
