BACOLOD City – A dead Indian national was found in an advanced state of decomposition at Estanzia Subdivision, Barangay Mandalagan at about 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 29.
The 23-year-old male victim, whose name is being withheld at the family’s request, allegedly committed suicide.
Police investigation revealed that the victim’s cell phone had been left unattended, so a cousin checked on him.
The cousin and the neighbors smelled a foul odor from the house and later found the victim in his room with a rolled blanket tied around his neck, the police said.
Scene of the Crime Operatives are waiting for the autopsy result but estimate the body to have been dead for around three days already when found./PN
