ILOILO – A drug pushing suspect was arrested by Pavia municipal police station cops in Barangay Tigum on July 24.

Micheal Larroza, 28, was a resident of the said barangay. He denied selling shabu but policemen claimed to have recovered from him eight sachets with a combined weight of approximately 17 grams and valued at P110,000.

According to the Pavia police, a poseur buyer initially bought shabu worth P1,500.

The other sachets were recovered in a subsequent body search of the suspect following his arrest.

Police Major Rolando Araño, Pavia police chief, said Larroza was placed under surveillance for nearly a month prior to Sunday’s sting operation.

Larroza was taken to the Pavia police station after the buy-bust.

A complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against him./PN
