ROXAS City – In two days, police accosted four drug suspects in three separate operations in Capiz.

The 35-year-old Reyjen Villanueva of Barangay Bliss Pantalan, President Roxas was arrested around 2:50 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.

Police caught him selling suspected shabu in Barangay Poblacion.

Four plastic packs of the substance were recovered from him.

Another suspected pusher fell into a dragnet set up by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group – Team Echo personnel in Barangay Agbanban, Panay.

Zandro Salcedo, 23, of Barangay Libas, Roxas City yielded four plastic packs of suspected shabu, including the one he sold to an undercover officer for P300, around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Three hours earlier, in Barangay 3 here, the same groups of law enforcers caught Kenny Venus, 34, of Barangay Lanot and Roderick Andrada, 21, of Barangay Dinginan.

Nine plastic packs of suspected shabu were seized from Venus and Andrada. They included the one they sold to an undercover officer for P300.

The suspects yielded drug paraphernalia, too.

All four were detained in the police station lockup cells of the local governments where they were arrested./PN
