CAPIZ – A man was arrested on Tuesday, October 28, for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition in Dumarao town.
Alias “Noynoy” yielded an unlicensed caliber .45 pistol and two magazines loaded with 11 round of live ammunition.
The operation carried out by officers of the Dumarao Municipal Police Station (MPS) was under the station’s Tokhang Kontra Armas Luthang – a campaign against loose firearms.
The suspect was detained at the Dumarao MPS. He is facing charges for violation of Republic 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
