ILOILO City – Suspected shabu and marijuana leaves were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Estancia, Iloilo.
The recovery led to the apprehension of 29-year-old Andre Gallardo, a resident of the village.
Gallardo was caught around 10:40 a.m. on Nov. 7, police said.
Five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and dried leaves of cannabis plants were confiscated from him.
Gallardo allegedly sold drugs to an undercover officer for P500.
He was detained at the municipal police station lockup facility.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the suspect./PN
