ILOILO City – A 24-year-old maintenance personnel of Robinsons Supermarket in Roxas Village, City Proper was caught attempting to cart away reams of cigarettes out of the establishment.
Allan Jun Condino of Barangay San Pedro, Molo district was arrested and detained at Police Station 1. He faces a qualified theft charge, a police report showed.
Condino took several reams of Marlboro Red from the supermarket’s warehouse and placed them inside a carton filled with garbage before exiting the warehouse via its receiving area on Feb. 5, Security Officer Jeffry Carbonilla told the police.
Ten reams of Marlboro Red worth P840 each were seized from Condino, the police report stated.
Carbonilla arrested Condino and turned him over to responding patrol police officers who remitted him to Police Station 1./PN
