ILOILO City – “Something will happen to you, watch out for it.”
This was what a man told Elena Lasa while she was outside her shop on Burgos Street, La Paz district.
The 43-year-old resident of Iloilo River Plains Subdivision in Barangay Camalig, Jaro told the police she did not know what the man meant by what he said but it scared her.
It was around 5:20 p.m. on Feb. 7 when the man Lasa identified as Alvin David of Burgos-Mabini-Plaza, La Paz told her, “Lantawa lang kay may matabo gid sa imo,” a police report showed.
David cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
The incident “caused fear” on Lasa, the report stated./PN
