ILOILO City – A man was arrested in Barangay Maite Pequeño, Lambunao, Iloilo. He was carrying a gun, police said.
Jessie Lego, 43, of Barangay Cabatangan, Lambunao was caught around 9 p.m. on Jan. 19.
Policemen of Lambunao recovered from his possession a .45-caliber pistol loaded with 10 live bullets.
Lavilla failed to present pertinent papers showing legal ownership of the weapon, police said.
He was taken to the municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against him./PN
