ILOILO City – A 56-year-old man charged with two counts of rape was arrested in Barangay Jamog Gines, Leon, Iloilo.
Rodrigo Cantua was a resident of Barangay Ravina, Sibunag, Guimaras.
After serving the warrant of arrest, the Leon police took Cantuan to the municipal police station around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Judge Abigail Dris-Villanueva of the Regional Trial Court Branch 65 issued the arrest warrant.
She recommended a P200,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
