BACOLOD City – A responding member of the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) shot a man who was allegedly hacked two people in Barangay Dawis, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
The 55-year-old resident Perfecto Ferolino sustained a gunshot wound on the body. He died, a police report showed.
Investigation revealed that Ferolino – who was looking for his wife – went berserk and hacked Alejandro Bulac and Felix Lakadman.
CAFGU member Donato Abansado, who was assigned in the village, responded to the incident.
Ferolino also attacked Abansado, prompting the latter to shoot him, police said.
Bulac and Lakadman was rushed to the Dawis Community Primary Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Dumaguete City where they were currently under treatment.
