ILOILO City – He was found dead inside their house in Barangay Buyo, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
The 58-year-old resident Renato Sibol was believed to have died due to an illness, a police report showed.
Sibol’s neighbor Raffy Sobremesana found him around 10 a.m. on Jan. 1, it added.
Responding police officers did not find any wounds on Sibol’s body suggestive of murder.
The victim was reportedly suffering from cancer.
Officers of the Santa Barbara police station have yet to rule out foul play in the incident./PN
