ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Kahirupan reported to the police that someone threatened to kill her and ridiculed her online.
The 27-year-old Cyrel Montebano said this caused her “great fear and anxiety,” a police report showed.
The police report identified a suspect – Khareen May Yu of Zone 14, Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district. She cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Montebano told the police Yu called her on the phone around 7 a.m. on Aug. 3 and told her, “Madakpan ta kamo kay pamatyon ta kamo kag pakahuy-an (When I get to you, I will ridicule and kill you).”
Around 9 a.m. on the same day, Montebano said Yu posted a comment on her Facebook post: “Alpot kag gaga, kabalan ka klase babayi (You’re a slut, you tenacious bitch).”
Montebano was referred to the barangay lupon./PN
