BACOLOD City – The No. 10 most wanted person in Ilog, Negros Occidental was finally arrested after seven years of hiding.
Nonie Silpao, 59, was a resident of Barangay Zone 2, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
He was charged with four counts of rape, a police report showed.
Police caught him on the strength of an arrest warrant around 2:25 p.m. on April 27 in Cadiz City’s Barangay Tinampa-an.
Judge Rosario Ester B. Orda-Caise of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 61 in Kabankalan City ordered Silpao’s arrest.
The suspect was temporarily held at the Cadiz City police station and set to be transferred to the Ilog police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
