ILOILO City – A hacking incident in Barangay Camandag, Leon, Iloilo left a laborer wounded.
The 49-year-old Charlie Cabaya was rushed to the Aleosan District Hospital in Alimodian, Iloilo around 11 a.m. yesterday.
The suspect, 52-year-old Ricardo Cabanas, was a co-worker.
According to the police, the victim was working at a drainage canal when attacked.
Cabanas was detained in the lockup facility of the Leon police station.
The suspect was mentally challenged, police claimed, but a frustrated murder charge will still be filed against him./PN
