ILOILO City – Around 5 grams of shabu were seized from a drug surrenderee and his live-in partner in Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City.
Detained at the Roxas City police station lockup cell were Mark Anthony Alvarez, 26, and Christine Villanueva, 24.
Alvarez sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 2, a police report showed.
He tried to flee but was later caught. He further yielded 10 sachets of shabu weighing around 5 grams and valued at P25,000.
Villanueva, who was with him, was arrested, too. Alvarez admitted using drugs and turning himself in to the Roxas City police earlier this year./PN
