ILOILO City – A lawyer from Barangay East Baluarte, Molo district reported to the police that a fellow motorist pissed at his being a “slow” driver tried to attack him.
Atty. Wilfredo Acebuque was driving his car with his family around 5:40 p.m. on Aug. 1 in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao. When they reached Seda Hotel, another car overtook them.
The unidentified male driver of the other car, wielding a bladed weapon, yelled at them, “Kahinay sa imo, obstruction ka! Panaog da,” a police report stated.
Acebuque said he slightly opened the driver’s seat window to identify himself, but the other driver attempted to open his door, kicked it, and returned to his car, the police report showed./PN
