BACOLOD City – Charged with six counts of sexual abuse, a man was arrested in his residence in Barangay Robles, La Castellana, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
He was the 40-year-old Rovil Villar, police said.
Villar was caught around 5;15 a.m. on Thursday on the strength of two arrest warrants – one issued by Judge Anita Guanzon-Chua of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 63 in La Carlota City,Negros Occidental on April 16, 2015 and the other, by Judge Judge Nilo Sarsaba of the RTC Branch 56 in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on April 8, 2014.
Villar was detained at the La Castellana police station lockup facility awaiting proper disposition.
Both the courts did not recommend a bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
