ILOILO City – A shooting in Barangay Santo Niño, Dueñas, Iloilo left a laborer dead and his brother wounded.
The 53-year-old Ricky Labausas died of a gunshot wound to the head. His brother Ronnie, 55, was recuperating at the Passi City District Hospital.
Tagged suspects were brothers Efren and Nani Gonzales.
The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. on May 19.
According to the police, the Labausas were inside their house when attacked.
Authorities launched a manhunt.
The whereabouts of the Gonzaleses remained unknown as this was being written.
Further investigation revealed that the older Labausas was reportedly involved in some robbery incidents in their barangay, police said./PN
