ILOILO City – A laborer was hit by a motorcycle while crossing a highway in Barangay Mianay, Sigma, Capiz.
The 59-year-old Joefrey Bullag died while undergoing treatment at the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital. He had head and body injuries.
Police said the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
The 29-year-old Edwin Duron, a resident of Barangay Mianay, was driving the motorcycle.
Duron was detained in the Sigma police station lockup cell./PN
