BACOLOD City – A man allegedly killed his wife by slitting her throat after a quarrel over money in Barangay Yao-Yao, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
Eduardo Mendiona, a resident of the village, is now the subject of a police manhunt.
He fled after slitting the throat of his 51-year-old wife Precilla around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.
Precilla was rushed to the Cauayan District Hospital where the attending physician declared her dead on arrival.
Officers of the Cauayan municipal police station are preparing a case of parricide against the suspect./PN
