ILOILO City – For transporting lumber without permit, a 54-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Batad, Iloilo.
Rudy Libreja of Barangay Arante, Sara, Iloilo was taken to the Batad police station.
He was caught driving a multi-cab loaded with undocumented lumber around 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 9, police said.
Charges for violation of Presidential Decree 705 (Forestry Reform Code of the Philippines) would be filed against him./PN
