SINCE becoming a mom to her son Skye Anakin five years ago, Max Collins has managed to prove to her fans that she could go back to her enviable figure after giving birth at home in 2020. The 33-year-old actress and model revealed in an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN that losing all that post-partum weight was not as easy as people think.
Last November 28, Max proudly shared her experience undergoing surgical procedures like liposuction and why she would not bother hiding or denying it to the public.
“When I was young, I think I wouldn’t be able to say it. But now that I’m old, like I don’t care anymore. And also I want to share to women that because sometimes when they think that it’s natural, ‘Oh your so blessed!’ I say, ‘No, I worked for it. I got all the help that I could get.’ And it’s okay for women to ask for help. Nobody’s perfect. It’s okay to admit that you’re flawed and that you need help,” Max shared.
Contrary to some assumptions that liposuction surgery can be scary, Max recalled her own experience as painless and easy.
“Actually, it was super easy kasi tulog ka eh. It was like the best sleep of my life, and then when I woke up, it was gone na, the fat. The recovery is not as hard as people think it is. It was only like two weeks. I was working actually after five days. And you know, no pain, no gain. Nothing comes easy,” she recalled.
The former Star Magic artist also talked about the reality of getting a figure like hers definitely takes a lot of work and effort.
Last September, she was recognized one of Asia’s Most Stylish by the luxury lifestyle magazine Tatler Philippines and she was also seen serving some sexy looks while attending this year’s Paris Fashion Week last October. Having had a busy year, Max shared she is already looking forward to exploring more new things in her career in 2026. (Push Team)
