ILOILO City – Police arrested a rape suspect in Barangay Calumpang, Molo district.
Amrosio Islais, 68, was detained at the Molo police station custodial facility.
Officers served the resident of Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo a warrant of arrest before taking him to the Molo police station at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Judge Elena Opinion of the Regional Trial Court Branch 27 issued the warrant against Islais. She did not grant the suspect bail./PN
