ILOILO City – Three people reported to the La Paz district police station that they lost a wallet, a student permit and a passport.
The locals tried searching for their missing valuables but to no avail, police said.
John Vincent Anam Vista of Barangay Lopez Jaena Norte, La Paz said he discovered that his wallet was missing when he arrived home at around 7 a.m. on Oct. 16.
Vista said among the contents of his wallet were:
- automated teller machine cards for AUB, BPI and BDO banks

Professional Regulation Commission identification card (ID)
-
Social Security System ID
-
Philippine Health Insurance Corp. ID
According to Vista, his wallet was placed in the back pocket of his pants and may have slipped out without him noticing.
Lloyd Anthony Labuyou Molina, on the other hand, told the police he lost his student permit.
He was at the pier in Barangay Libertad, La Paz at around 8 a.m. on Oct. 10 when he discovered that it was missing.
Molina said his student permit was placed in the right back pocket of his pants and may have slipped out when he was in transit.
Reggby Sollano Hablero of Jalandoni Street, Lapuz district also sought help from the police in finding her passport.
The passport was contained in her shoulder bag placed in their living room.
She discovered that it was missing at around 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 23, Hablero said.
Hablero said she tried looking for the document but to no avail./PN
