ILOILO City – Policemen finally arrested a murder suspect hiding these past 10 years.
Ramwel Dao-ang was caught in Barangay Calaigang, San Rafael, Iloilo around 9 a.m. on Nov. 26.
After serving the arrest warrant, policemen took the 35-year-old resident of Barangay Bangkal, Lemery, Iloilo to the San Rafael municipal police station.
The suspect was charged with frustrated murder in 2010. He then disappeared from the town.
Judge Rogelio Amador of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66 issued the arrest warrant.
No bail bond was set for Dao-ang’s temporary liberty./PN
