BACOLOD City – Charged with two counts of rape and sexual assault – with no bail recommended by the court – the No. 1 most wanted person in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental has been arrested.
The 36-year-old Joey Jumaway was caught yesterday, April 21, in Barangay Tampalon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental through the help of an informant.
The arresting officers were combined elements of the Himamaylan City police station, Kabankalan City police station and the 604th Regional Mobile Force Company.
The crime the suspect was accused of committing happened sometime in 2018, according to the police.
The complainant was a 15-year-old girl. She was raped while her grandmother not in their house, she stated in the complaint.
