BACOLOD City – Charged with five counts of sexual assault, a resident of Barangay Vito, Sagay City, Negros Occidental was arrested.
The court has denied the 18-year-old Ariel Potestad bail.
Senior Inspector Ellendie Rebusquillo, deputy Sagay City police chief, served Potestad a warrant of arrest at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
Potestad was detained at the Sagay City police station pending a court order for his transfer to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology facility in Barangay Rizal, Sagay City.
Judge Reginald M. Fuentebella of the Regional Trial Court Branch 73 (Sagay City) issued the warrant on June 29./PN
