ILOILO City – A house raid in search of unlicensed guns yielded negative result in Barangay Anoring, Sara, Iloilo.
No firearms were found in village chief Neptali Salcedo Jr.’s house, a police report showed.
Salcedo, the president of the Association of Barangay Captains in Sara, was not around when the police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant around 7 a.m. on April 17.
The warrant was issued after police received information that Salcedo was keeping unlicensed firearms in his house./PN
