KALIBO, Aklan – The local government of Libacao, Aklan will give P100,000 to anyone who can give information leading to the arrest of suspect/s behind the killing of an 8-year-old girl in the town.
On Oct. 27, the Grade 3 pupil Chrisha Nobleza was found dead wearing no underwear near a river in Barangay Guadalupe, Libacao, three kilometers away from her residence in Barangay Julita.
The scene of the crime operatives confirmed that Nobleza was raped before she was killed.
The still unidentified suspect/s attempted to burn Nobleza’s body, too, said the police.
Nobleza was buried on Monday.
During the burial, Nobleza’s family brought with them white flaglets with messages seeking for justice written on them.
Nobleza’s family was also seeking help from President Rodrigo Duterte.
Nobleza went missing on Oct. 24, father Eriel earlier told the police.
Eriel said he told his daughter to go home to prepare lunch for her siblings that day but Nobleza never came come./PN
