ILOILO City – Police caught a rape suspect in Barangay Mula-pula, Passi City.
He was 25-year-old Joseph Cuales, a resident of the village, a police report showed.
Policemen of Passi served him a warrant of arrest at 9:45 a.m. on Dec. 22, a police report showed.
Cuales was charged with rape in relation to Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
The court recommended a bail bond of P200,000 for Cuales’ temporary liberty.
He was detained at the Passi City police station./PN
