ILOILO City – A man was shot to death by an unidentified gunman in Barangay Balabag, Pavia, Iloilo.
Resident Martin Alvarez died of multiple gunshot wounds on the body, police said.
Investigations by the Pavia police showed Alvarez was about to board his motorcycle when an unidentified assailant peppered him with bullets around 7:40 a.m. Dec. 24.
He was rushed to the Western Visayas Medical Center and but was later declared dead.
Officers of municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
