MANILA – Petron Blaze Spikers made a short work of the PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters, 25-19, 25-15, 25-9, in the 2019 Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at the San Juan Arena.


Cherry Rondina made an immediate impact after being inserted in the starting roster. She finished with double-double 12 points and 20 excellent digs.


Mika Reyes and Mary Remy Palma chipped in nine points apiece on Thursday night while Frances Molina added eight markers and had 12 digs.

The Blaze Spikers improved to 9-1 win-loss record.


The Power Hitters struggled in the attack department with only 25 kills contrary to the Blaze Spikers, who waxed hot with 47 hits.


Aiko Urdas had eight points while setter Jasmine Nabor added six markers for the Power Hitters, which dropped to 3-7 win-loss card.


In the other match, F2 Logistics Cargo Movers continued its hold of the top spot in the standings after a 25-17, 25-12, 25-23 straight-set victory at the expense of Foton Tornadoes.


Ilongga Abigail Marano finished with 15 points, on 12 attacks, two service aces and a block, as the Cargo Movers improved to 10-0 win-loss slate.

The Tornadoes dropped to 7-4./PN
