BACOLOD City – Accused of reckless imprudence resulting to damage to property, a man was nabbed in Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 59-year-old Leonardo Leoran had been hiding from the police for almost 19 years.
Leoran – resident of the village – was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 9 a.m. on May 18, a police report showed.
Judge Antonio Jayobo of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in Talisay City issued the warrant dated Nov. 29, 2001.
Leoran was detained in the custodial facility of the Talisay City police station.
The court recommended a P30,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
