ROXAS City – The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) here passed an ordinance lowering the rate for reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test at the Roxas City Diagnostic and Laboratory Center.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas requested the city council to lower the rate especially for walk-in patients.
“Libre ang RT-PCR swab test sa mga close contacts kag mga suspect coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases nga residente sang Roxas City. Apang may mga kasimanwa kita nga naga-walk-in (for the test) para sa travel, employment kag iban pa nga katuyuan,” Dadivas explained.
The city council approved the mayor’s request’s by passing an ordinance during Tuesday’s regular session.
From P3,800, the cost for RT PCR swab test was lowered to P2,800 based on the guidelines set by the Department of Health./PN
