BACOLOD City – A man was killed in a road crash in Barangay Bunga, Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental.
The 55-year-old resident Cading Barrios sustained head and body injuries after a Rusi motorcycle driven by a minor hit the Racal 125 motorcycle he and his 13-year-old son Anjonei were riding.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Barrios was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City where he died while being treated.
Anjonei also sustained injuries and was currently under treatment at the same hospital.
Investigation revealed that the motorcycle the minor was driving had broken headlights.
Police said the minor was only using a flashlight while he was driving that night.
