BACOLOD City – A man did not survive after drowning in a beach in Purok Punta Cruz, Barangay Poblacion, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
The 52-year-old resident Benedicto Llasos was pronounced “dead on arrival” at the town’s Rural Health Unit, police said.
Llasos was swimming in the beach on Wednesday when big waves hit him, the investigation revealed.
Llasos was fished out of the water around 1:30 p.m. that day, added the police./PN
