BACOLOD City – For owning an unlicensed gun, a security guard was arrested in Barangay 3, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Ernesto Garredo Asilar Jr., 49, faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Policemen of Himamaylan served him a warrant of arrest and took him to the police station around 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 25.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail bond for Asilar‘s temporary liberty./PN
