BACOLOD City – Six illegal drug suspects were arrested in a hotel room on Araneta Street in Barangay 39.
Karlo Ocampo, 31, of Barangay Mandalagan; Mikael Nicholas Zayco, 34, of Barangay Estefania; and Barangay Villamonte residents Mariano Villarosa Jr., 37, Nilo Manuel Lizares, 34, Marvin Magno Jr., 35, and Robert John Herman, 34, were caught inside Room 211 of Planta Centro Bacolod Hotel and Residences.
The Police Station 1 Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency recovered from the suspects on Aug. 2 about 30 grams of shabu valued at P300,000.
The suspects were facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. They were detained at Police Station 1./PN
