PUBLIC schools across the country faced the ongoing challenge of preparing thousands of classrooms to provide safe and conducive learning environments for the opening of School Year 2025-2026.
In support of this national effort, integrated energy company Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC) actively participated in the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2025, empowering about 16,000 students in its host communities in Antique, Batangas, and Makati.
Anchored on its long-standing commitment to education and community development, SMPC mobilized employee volunteers to help repair and repaint classrooms, donate essential school supplies, and conduct readiness programs for both students and teachers.
