ILOILO City – Charged with child abuse, a man was arrested on Barangay Q. Abeto Street, Mandurriao district.
He was 25-year-old John Michael Repiedad, a resident of Aklan province, police said.
Repiedad’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant around 11 a.m. on Jan. 14, the police added.
Repiedad was taken to the Mandurriao police station where he was detained. He will be transferred to Aklan this week.
The court recommended an P80,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
