ILOILO City – A taxi driver was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Buyo, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
The 42-year-old resident Bernard Bachoco was taken to the Santa Barbara police station.
An undercover officer initially bought from Bachoco a sachet of suspected shabu for P,1,500.
Eleven more sachets of suspected illegal drugs were seized during Bachoco’s arrest around 5 p.m. on Dec. 11, police said.
The suspect was detained. He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
